The Addiction Recovery Team (ART) provides resources to parents with Substance Use Disorder and Child Welfare involvement. Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselors (CADC) and Outreach Workers assist parents to remove barriers to treatment and helps parents move towards reunification with their children and the creation of more stable families.
In the past two years, Addiction and Recovery Team Counselors have connected with 1,609 DHS-involved people to link them with alcohol and drug treatment resources. We provide services in 5 counties throughout Oregon: Multnomah, Washington, Marion, Yamhill, and Polk. Participants must be referred to our program by their DHS Child Welfare caseworker.
